You know that feeling when you pass something up, and then you see it later and you’re kicking yourself? Yup. I’m feeling it.
Do you remember this brass beauty that I showed you that I found at a consignment store? $200. That’s it.
I said I would paint it navy blue.
Well regret kicked into high gear when I found this on the Circa Who website for $2400.
Ahhh, yea. I guess this shows you never know when you’ll find a diamond in the rough!

I’m heading to Atlanta later this week to attend market, and was wondering if any of you have any restaurant suggestions? Let’s face it, the eating is just as important as the shopping! Thanks!
Have a great Monday!

Resturant Eugene wonderful food!
Give Pure Taqueria a try…unique setting and great food!

I’ve never been to market in Atlanta. I look forward to seeing your photos and hearing all about it on your terrific blog…
Aw bummer Lauren. It just wasn’t meant to be. Have fun in Atlanta!
Hey, I have been reading for a while. Love your blog! I am from Atlanta, and have a couple of suggestions:
if you can, get to Empire State South. YUMMERS!!!
Also, if you need a bite to eat and want to stay downtown…try Rays in the City for good sushi and good food.
In Midtown, hot choices are Spense and Fourth and Swift.
Don’t kick yourself to hard. You’ll find another table to paint.
I personally could never live with a glass-topped table. I’d have to keep a bottle of Windex hanging from my belt at all times.
(Does this Windex bottle make me look fat?)
I promise this is meant to educate you and not to make you feel worse. That table is by Mastercraft and fetches a pretty penny. http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture_item_detail.php?id=739424
There was one recently on Austin CL and the guy was also asking $200. I had absolutely no use for it, but I couldn’t let it sell for so little, so I e-mailed the guy and just told him what he had and gave him the keywords to do his own search. As soon as he re-listed it with better language and doubled the price, it sold immediately.
