Lauren Leonard Interiors: Before and After

Hello friends.  I’m excited to show you more of my finished work in the coming weeks, and today I have a sunroom project to share with you that I recently completed.

This home is situated on a beautiful piece of property, surrounded by lush gardens and a lake.  My client wanted a space that took advantage of the natural surroundings and one that was light and bright.  This client gave me free reign with the design and as she told me, she was going to “let me do my job”.  I am so thankful that she trusted me and gave me that creative freedom.

Her sunroom had good bones to start with; lots of natural sunlight, neutral, ceramic tile and plantation shutters.  Here are the “before’s” as it looked on the day of our initial consultation.  Don’t be scared by the hand chairs.  Fortunately, they found a good home at Goodwill.

As you can see, this room served as her “catch all” and work out room.

Please excuse my over-abundance of “After” photos……

And one more “Before” to refresh your memory…………..

Thank you for stopping by today!  Hope your week gets off to a great start.

  1. Lovely transformation! Many people get stuck on using beige, or gold tones on the walls when the tile is a beige tone. This is a great example of not getting stuck in that rut. It is truly a beautiful space! Best, Beth C.

  3. This is so pretty! I was wondering if you would mind sharing where the pillows are from (specifically the blue with the paisley on it)? Thanks!
    Tracey

    • Hi Tracey, the blue pillow is Peter Dunham Kashmir paisley in Peacock, and the green floral ones are Michael Smith, Tree of Life, and the brown one is from good old pottery barn! Thanks for stopping by!

Can you share a good source for the natural woven shades you have used in the room. I have been looking for a while now but don’t know which ones will look good AND hold up over time. Thanks!

    • Hi Arti, the shades are through a to-the-trade source. They are custom made and have an excellent warranty. They come is many, many different materials. Please feel free to contact me at ll@laurenleonardinteriors.com if you would like to get pricing on your windows. Best, Lauren
