In the works

I’ve been working on several great projects lately and thought I’d share the progress that we’ve made so far.  I promise, scout’s honor, that I will show you the finished product!!

Almost done in here.  Drapes are up!

I’ve been working with an E-Design client in Houston on her bonus room remodel.  Sadly, 3 weeks after moving into their dream home the bonus room was struck by lightning and was gutted.  Fortunately, the family was safe and the rest of the house was undamaged.  So with this project, we have been working from the ground up…literally!

She texted these pictures to me of the ceiling and the built-ins.  So happy!!

And this bathroom remodel has seen it’s share of delays.  Damaged paint finish on the cabinets…2 week delay.  Tile job…1 week delay.  Then today I was checking in on the paint job while the counter top was being installed, and noticed this….

The painters painted all of the trim work cream, except for the doors and the door trim.  Say what?!?

We are almost ready to hang the mirror, but when we opened it…it’s broken.

But not all has been lost.  There are lots of pretty things going on in here that are coming together beautifully.

Thanks for your suggestions for Atlanta.  I’ll be back next week with lots of pictures, ’cause you know I’ll be thinking about you guys!!  :)

This is going to be great. That ceiling takes my breath away.

  2. How do you do what you do & not have a meltdown? I guess the end result makes it all worth it.
    Have fun in Atlanta!

Hey, I recognize that ceiling ;) . It looks even better now that the wood floor is down and all the junk is out of the way! T-20 days til the contractor says they will be through. Can’t wait! I promise to share more pics once everything is wrapped up.
