I’m trying to find the motivation to get my house ready for my company. While I am very excited to see my sister and her family, I have this house cleaning thing hanging over my head.
To make matters worse, we went out of town over the weekend and now we’re having a laundry crisis. The other day my 9 year-old sweetly asked me if I could do his laundry while he was at school. My 12 year-old has decided to take matters into his own hands. Recently, he asked me to teach him how to do his laundry. Um…can you say mom guilt? Does being busy count as an excuse?!?
In my procrastination to clean, I came across this house in Country Living. I love how the homeowner mixes styles to create a layered look that is casual and welcoming.
