Getting back to nature

This past weekend was spent with some old friends at their family lodge located on the Florida-Georgia border.  The lodge sits on 600 acres and contains a barn, exotic animal farm, shooting range, and countless trails.  Oh, and the house even has a bowling alley!  Our outdoor-loving kids were in heaven to say the least.  And well, the adults had fun, too!  Even though this weekend was freezing (by Florida standards) we had the best time spending it outdoors.

These little guys got really noisy as we approached.  I wasn’t sure if they were happy to see us or if they were telling us to back off.

Miss Ellie made a new friend……..

Riding the dirt bike was the boys’ favorite part…………

……..until we moved on to skeet shooting.

I even got in the action.  It’s not easy.

Have a great Monday friends.
