Client Project: bathroom vanity inspiration

One of the projects I’m currently working on is a bathroom remodel in a beautiful riverfront home.  I took this opportunity to present some non-traditional vanity options to my client and she liked them as much as I did.  Which one are we going with?!?

Option 1.  Trough-style sink.

Option 2.  Floating shelves

Option 3.  Skirted sink

Option 4. Table base

(images via pinterest)

Answer…………….option 4!  Below are the table options that I found at my local antique store and one of them was a winner.  By the way, the tables ranged from $150-$200, so this is a very budget -friendly alternative.  You’ll have to wait for the ‘after’ pictures to see which one we chose.  I know, not fair!!

If you filled out an E-Design form in the last 48 hours I was unable to receive it due to a glitch.  It is now fixed and you can either resend it or email me directly at  Sorry for the inconvenience.  Thank you!

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a good one!

  1. Hey Lauren,
As you know, this is the route I took for my guest bathroom. I just wish my husband hadn’t cheaped out with the exposed plumbing underneath. I wanted chrome but he thought the plastic PVC pipes were good enough. Maybe someday I can get him to change it out.
Or maybe my next husband will do it. HA!!

  2. All of those bathrooms are adorable. Can’t wait to see the finished bathroom….the tables are great!

  3. I would choose option 3 or 4, especially if I ever get to build my dream cottage at the river. Can’t wait to see client’s bathroom! Mary, you are killing me, as usual! you must be my sistah from another mistah!

  4. This is going to be awesome! Love your inspiration pics too. Can’t wait to see the finished project!

  6. LOVE it! I think the first antique table looks most like a fit to the inspiration but I love the white too!

I love your style. Can I ask what state you are in? I LOVE those cream chairs in the pic showing one of the tables. I wonder how much the chairs are?×780.jpg

    Thanks, Kelly
