Hello friends…happy Friday.  We have a a few fun things on tap this weekend.   Running a 5K (well, that’s not exactly fun), soccer game, football game, adult par-tay.  Sunday I hope to fluff up the outside of my house with a little fall decor .  I also want to try this cake that Erika posted about this week.  Have you tried it?

 

PUMPKIN BREAD :: TWO & A HALF INGREDIENTS

(On the pinterest version the blogger uses a yellow cake mix, Erika used a spice cake mix)

- One Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix.

- One small (16oz) jar of canned pumpkin.  (read: not to be confused with canned pumpkin pie filling)

- 1/2 teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice

Mix them up.  Grease & flour your pan of choice.  Bake at 350 degrees for…. well… until you get a clean toothpick.

I think I am going to make mine with a yellow cake mix because that’s what I have in the pantry.

I love all of the flavors of fall, don’t you?  But ever since I tried the salted caramel mocha at Starbucks, I have seriously been addicted.  The other day I went through a starbucks drive through after a run and ordered the caramel mocha and a slice of pumpkin bread.  I think I consumed more calories than I burned.  Frowny face.  If you try one…just remember I cautioned you.

I have been working with a long distance client on her entryway.  We had planned on using the mdf table base from Wisteria (it’s the base under the table skirt in the picture).  But guess what?  They’ve been discontinued.   I know, I can’t understand it.  Have you seen them sold elsewhere?  If we cannot find one I’m hoping her husband may be the handy type and build one!

and doing a band along the bottom in a blue-gray linen.  Similar to this one.
