Since I came across these napkins that I turned into pillows for my entry bench,
I started looking at other napkins that would make pretty and inexpensive pillows or even wall art…. framed in these Ribba frames ($19.99) from Ikea.
The frames are 20×20″ which is the standard size of a napkin, or for a more custom look, use the wide mat that comes with it and your framed piece will be 12×12″.
Here are some that caught my eye that I thought would look great framed or turned into fun accent pillows.

Love these cheery prints from Anthropologie
These would be adorable framed in a little girls’ room.
Oh, the possibilities!! Which would you do…frame them or sew them into pillows?
Just thought I would pass this on to you in case any of you are fans of the bird prints. You may remember I recently posted about bird prints here, and some of them that I referenced in the post were by John Audubon. While I was at Barnes and Noble today, I was browsing the “Bargain Books” section and came across this set of 16 frameable prints by none other than John Audubon on sale for $14.98.
Here are some of my favorites that are included.
The colors in the picture did not come out as vibrant as they really are.
I tried to find this set on the Barnes and Noble website in case you wanted to pick up a set of your own, but unfortunately could not find them.
And just in case you need a little more inspiration, I came across this image on Pinterest of designer Mark Sikes home which was recently featured in House Beautiful. It is gorgeous. All of it.
Hope your week is off to a great start!
Hello Friends. Hope you had a nice weekend. I was a little under the weather this weekend and unfortunately my project to-do list took the hit. However, the painting in Ellie’s room is complete and her room is now lavender. When she came home from preschool on Friday and saw it painted for the first time, she said, with a big smile on her face, I really like it!! Any doubts that I may have had about the paint color disappeared after I saw how excited she was. Thank you for your ideas on her dresser pulls.
I received the recent Ballard’s catalog and their new bird prints caught me by surprise. Love them.
Are you a fan of bird prints? Whenever I suggest bird prints to a client to use in their design, they always politely tell me “no” to the birds. They don’t like them. They’re not a fan. But look how pretty……..
I love everything about this entryway by Tom Scheerer.
This is one of my favorite bathrooms, by Bill Ingram (I think).
It would be easy to recreate these looks by picking up a few prints from All Posters.
You may remember this pelican print from this famous nursery (Does anyone know the designer?) Check out the grasscloth ceiling.
I have this one hanging in my dining room. We see egrets roaming around our neighborhood all the time.
The next two prints are from my favorite store in Savannah, Number Four Eleven. Look at their cute storefront. Adorable.
In case bird wall art is not your thing, West Elm has recently come out with some bird pillows.
So are you a fan or is this something you would pass on?
