A few of my favorite trims.

When designing pillows and window treatments, it’s always the small details that make a design special.  Finding and selecting the right trim can be very time consuming but when it all comes together it is well worth it.  Here are a few that I’m dying to use…..

Trims, such as these, can be the jumping of point for an entire room design.

Great jute-braided trim.  I recently used the trim on the lower left on a window treatment (pictures coming, I promise!)

On Sunday afternoon, after completing my 27th load of laundry, I was feeling pretty good about myself for everything that I had accomplished so far in the day.  I decided to get the dreaded weekly grocery shopping done, and as the guy behind the deli counter handed me my turkey and cheese, he tells me, “have a great day and remember only 45 shopping days left to Christmas”.  I about wrecked my cart as glared back at him.  WHAT???    And now friends we are down to 43 days!!  Yikes.   Ok, so how many of you have started their shopping already?  I have to know!!

Oy, I don’t like the sound of that! That’s not enough time. I think I focus on the beautiful trim instead. :)

  2. I’ve been looking for red pom-pom trim for Christmas pillows. And now you’re telling me I only have 43 days left to get them made? Please don’t let me go into panic mode.

  3. oooooh, I love all of these trims. I need to pick a nice masculine trim to perk up a roman shade I bought from JC Penney. Please help! I would love to just hibernate in a cabin in the mountains and skip the hype for Christmas. Unfortunately, the kids aren’t on the same page with that idea…

I love the pink trims you showed…I can totally envision a girl’s bedroom using any one (or more!) of those. After the holidays I need to get on the hunt for some trim to spice up the white Ikea panels in our bedroom…I’m liking the Edessa key. And No, I have not given Christmas shopping a thought yet…although my 16 year old asked me what I wanted- she’s more on the ball than I am!! Elle

  5. I love them too! Especially the first ones and the last one! It IS crazy that its so close to thanksgiving and Christmas! I need to get on it! Thanks for the reminder;)
